Family and friends, we are heartbroken to announce the passing of Gary on the evening of Christmas Eve after a strong, brave and odds-defying journey.

We cannot overstate how missed he will be by his family, as well as the numerous friends who have passed on condolences, it's clear that Gary had a huge impact on a great number of people across the world. 

Gary's funeral will be held at Macclesfield Crematorium at 3:30pm on Thursday the 18th of January 2024. Full details can be found below.

As a family, we have been greatly touched by the care, support and amazing acts of kindness performed by the team at East Cheshire Hospice, where Gary spent the final weeks of his life. The team there went well above the call of duty ensuring that Gary, and us, his family, were taken care of on every step of the way, and displayed several acts of generosity/kindness that we as a family could not thank them more for and can never begin to repay. 

In Gary's memory, we would like to ask that all donations go directly to East Cheshire Hospice, which relies on public support to continue to operate. Donations can be added electronically below.
